Drones illuminated the Night Sky of Egypt during the Grand Egyptian Museum’s Opening Ceremony
Drones were a major component of the spectacular light show that illuminated the night sky of Giza during the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) opening ceremony on November 1, 2025.
The drones were precisely synchronized to form large, three-dimensional images and figures in the sky, including the iconic golden mask of King Tutankhamun, his royal chariot, the ship of King Khufu, and other ancient Egyptian treasures.
The drone display was part of a larger audiovisual production that included spectacular fireworks, lasers, and projection mapping on the museum's facade and the surrounding area, with the ancient Pyramids of Giza serving as a stunning backdrop.

INSIDE THE ORION NEBULA
This is a wonderful shot showing us one of the most beautiful regions of the sky.
IC 434 is an emission nebula visible in the constellation Orion. In the center of the photo we can see the famous Horsehead Nebula, a dark cloud overlapping it in our line of sight.
